There will be furlough with AI in the next few years. The pace of innovations will create more uncertainties and churn in the employment market. To future-proof ourselves, we should incorporate Gen AI in our work practices, make AI our assistance/partner. I wouldn't be surprised to see future job descriptions requiring "knowledge and experience in using AI tools." Soon, this will be a hygiene factor in job requirements.
