I was a loyal customer of The Guild because of their wonderful staff and great customer service. Since it is now Urbn Leaf, it is not what it used to be. No one is ever available when you call the store directly for information, it is just automated messages and invalid options. For my in-person experience, all staff members, besides the person checking us in, were unprofessional, rude, and lacking good customer service skills. The first issue was that the front desk representative who checks IDs stated that I would be given referral credits for today's visit since I was bringing in guests. But due to a technicality, the cashiers and sales associates did not honor the $10 referral credit and refused to make any kind of accommodations whatsoever. Secondly, the person helping me with my items (Juliette H.) was unfamiliar with the products, pricing, and percentage of THC. Juliette did not know how to navigate the register or input discounts into the system, kept walking back and forth from the register to the employee backroom in the middle of helping me, and could not answer any of my questions without first referring to another teammate(s) or reading the product. It looks incredibly unprofessional when your staff members don't know what they are selling to customers and give unclear answers to what the product consists of. Lastly, when asking about information for future visits and the referral processes to prevent these issues from occurring again, Juliette and a gentleman with blonde hair and black cap kept repeating irrelevant answers instead of actually listening to what I was asking and trying to figure out possible solutions. All of the sales associates were completely incompetent and were getting annoyed by basic customer interaction. My advice is to be consistent with what you tell your customers, honor your promises even if it may have been a mistake on the staff member's end or better yet, coordinate with your staff so that they know the correct store policy and referral process. Most importantly, don't be stingy about the $10 referral credit! Literally just lost a loyal customer and lots of potential referral customers because of this experience. I'll never go here again and am saddened that The Guild has been replaced by a less than business that does not understand the basics of customer service.

We came here today to see what it looked like because we used to come to the former location, The Guild. The building was so nice on the outside, the employees were nice, and the selection was very impressive. We will definitely be back.

Kyle was awesome! So helpful for this first timer. He answered a lot of questions regarding what will help with my dad's nausea from chemo. All the employees were so nice and helpful. I was a bit nervous to go in not knowing much, but it was easy peasy and of course chill.

The best place in the South Bay !! The customer service was amazing and there stuff was gas will come again

I really enjoyed visiting this Urbn Leaf in the bay area. I'm familiar with their brand down in SD and decided to give it a go up here. Wow. The front desk girl was so nice. My budtender was so knowledgeable and I even left with an awesome discount! Urbn Leaf you never disappoint. So stoked there's now one here in San Jose. Will be back soon!!

I haven't been in person yet which is the only thing holding me back from 5 stars, and I can't attest to the other reviewers qualms, but I personally found my experience calling in very helpful. I talked to Kapi'olani and they were really kind in guiding me through their options and what the process is. I'm a baby to this whole dispensary thing and cannabis in general so it can be a little overwhelming to me, from selection to how check-out works to what the security procedure is like, but I feel much more sure about it now thanks to them. I'll try to update my review whenever I get the chance to visit next.

Great staff, good service and great deals! Will be back. Definitely better than the other dispensaries in the area.

Disrespectful blonde girl at check out , huge attitude , I felt very racially profiled . She had a smug look on her face while I was looking for my cash to pay , and I overheard her talking smack about customers . PSA pls don't hire woman like this other people really need a job during this pandemic and I don't think she deserves it . Blonde shoulder length

Stopped bye here the other day with my doctors rec to pick up a few ounces shout out to Chris w for being very informative and helping me pick out the wedding cake and pineapple train wreck and jet fuel I will definitely be coming back for more .

I went to this location when it was still The Guild, but I couldn't be happier about the changes. I work at a specialty medical clinic, directly with patients, so it's been quite stressful lately. Mercedes C. made sure to take care of me and ensure I have a good weekend. Thanks, Mercedes!

Hands down the best dispensary in town; from customer service to everyday specials and back. Highly recommend.

I've been pleased with the service at this shop. I've been going there every couple of weeks for about three months.But before going today, I checked the last receipt, and I was surprised to see that I've been paying 50 cents for the bag each time. No one disclosed to me that there was a charge or asked me if I wanted a bag. No one suggested bringing back a bag to avoid the charge.The other shop I frequent puts the product in a plain paper bag, at no charge.When I worked in retail, we called this sort of thing "slamming," which basically means hiding charges from customers.When I went in today, I told the rep that I didn't want a bag. I was told that I couldn't leave without a bag. There was a manager there, so I told her that the charge should be disclosed. I got no indication that she planned on changing the policy.I called around and found another shop that offers lower prices. So I'll drive a little farther next time.I'm posting this review primarily to prevent other customers from being cheated.

Dont waste your time here, just go to the Deli down the street. Their house strains is ehhh 3/10. They usually only have 1 budtender available so wait takes forever. I went there a couple times and the last time I went they didnt accept my Drivers License just because it has a Chicago address on it. Weird since I've already been to the location multiple times. I travel alot for work and my ID is very legal... go ahead swipe it! Look for the California bear- nope instead they told ME to go to the Deli (after I was already at the register, she went out her way to run to the register to tell them not to help me) and I am so glad I did. I wasnt rejected I was redirected

Have to give 5 STARS because $1 (first 400 people with $50+ purchase) Grand Opening Swag Bag was an awesome loaded collection & value. This was further enhanced by ~10 vendors with more giveaways (including great folks from PAX and JETTY!!!). There was a long slow line & only 4 of the 6 registers were staffed (1 was short & very pretty). Budtenderess was friendly. Menu has Kurvana at better price than Medmen (most area dispensaries don't have it), but doesn't have Jetty Pax Tangie or Blue Dream or XJ-13 (all at Airfield). They have many Level tabs somewhat overpriced & without the Sativa Hashtabs that I buy in large quantity when on sale at Haze & at Airfield. Interior is very clean & open/airy. Good amount of private & street parking, & bicycle traffic too. Hope to see menu better expand in the future.

I came here for the first time couple weeks ago and was overjoyed by the experience. I loved the atmosphere and aesthetic of the dispensary. The staff were all very nice and welcoming. Most notably, Chris H. was immensely helpful and personable. They were very knowledgable about the different products and assisted me in picking out some great flower and edibles for a reasonable price. They made sure that the experience was a pleasant one, and I appreciated their friendly and fully engaged approach to customer service. I will definitely be returning!

LOVE THIS PLACE! They have the biggest variety of everything. Mercedes helped me out today with all of my questions and concerns. She was very professional, friendly and most of all helpful. She explained to me about terms I wasn't familiar with and helped me chose the strain that I would find most enjoyable. She helped me out so much, she deserves a raise! I'm recommending Urbn Leaf to all my friends.

From the moment My husband and I walked in we felt so welcome. The front operations coordinator was so helpful and kind. Her spirit was also very positive and joyful. WALK IN: the ambient is so natural and relaxed, also makes you feel welcomed. As someone who doesn’t know much about marijuana I didn’t feel overwhelmed like I have at other dispensaries. JULIET was extremely helpful. Had a positive attitude and helpful answer to all of our questions. She didn’t make me feel like a dummy for not knowing what the heck I was talking about and did her best and nailed communication! Thank you Urban Leaf! Looking forward to becoming a regular.
