Hi jaxxy sorry I don't have the answers but I can sympathise. I am currently 11 days late now but I have not tested since Saturday after 5 negative tests. I plan to test again tomorrow. I had a miscarriage 4 months ago and although my cycles have been regular since then it is probably my body playing tricks on me. I don't have many symptoms apart from being bloated.

I'd leave it a couple of days and test again, some people take a bit longer to test positive and I've read that some people don't test positive for a few weeks ( that's what I'm hoping for anyway!)

It's so frustrating isn't it!! I didn't have any of this with my first as I didn't think it would happen for a year and just assumed my body was getting used to not having the pill. My partner nagged me at 6 weeks to test and got a positive straight away. This time I thought it would happen quicker so have been counting down the days!! Probably where we go wrong.

Oh I'm sorry about your MC. That's hard. wow, 11 days late? That's a long time isn't it, and I bet all you can think about all day is how overdue you are? I have been googling, and quite a lot say it could take 2 weeks after being late!! Thats so long to wait, lol! I got some more tests yesterday, so I'm going to test again tomorow morning. I wanted to do another one this morning as i bought a different make, but Its really disappointing seeing a BFN though isn't it, and then a waste of a test!

I've been quite grumpy lately, and woke in a real strop with my partner today. I hated him in my first pregnancy, not sure why, it was just my hormones! He couldn't do anything right bless him!! Haha! So then it makes me think that's another symptom today, but then is that all in my head!? Argh it's hard!! lol x

Just to add that I'm totally in the same boat. DS1 and DS2 both conceived pretty quickly - 1st or 2nd month of trying. I also lost a baby at 36 weeks inbetween them who was conceived on about the 2nd month of trying. We're now TTC again and I came off microgynon in June. Since then I've had a 28 day period, 27 days, 26 days, 21 days and now nothing. I'm about 3 weeks overdue and have done 4 pregnancy tests - all bfn.

I went to see my gynaecologist on Tuesday and he's prescribed me progesterone to take (Duphaston - apparently no longer sold in the UK - I live in Belgium). Apparently this should kick start my cycles again. I'm on my 3rd day of taking it though and still don't feel any closer to AF.

FWIW, I also have hashimotos (hypothyroidism), diagnosed after my stillbirth in 2012. But, I've had all my levels checked out and there's no problems there at the moment that could be causing my periods to disappear. I'm only 34 but am worrying now that we left it to late :-(

Try not to worry yet - I know it's easier said than done though!

I'm in a similar boat as I'm a week late and have loads of symptoms but no bfp yet. Had a faint line yesterday but not enough to convince me'

I asked my gp who reassured me that loads of women don't test positive until they're a couple of weeks late - or even longer than that. It's so frustrating waiting (and spending a small fortune on frer!)

I'm kind of in a similar position but I've been spotting for 6 days & no proper AF. Started spotting at 9dpo so was hoping it was implantation but 2 BFN's say other wise. I thought I would have had proper AF on Thurs or Friday. I don't usually have spotting for 6 days but I've no pregnancy symptoms other than sore boobs which is also a symptom that AF is on her way.

It's very annoying.

Oh I so need this thread right now!! Have been TTC no#2 for 13 months and I'm currently 9/10 days late with AF. Last tested on friday and obv BFN. Have been wracking my brains about my other pregnancies and I know I tested negative with DS1 before I got my BFP but as I wasn't really counting I have no idea how 'late' I was, and with my MC I didn't test until 6 weeks and got a BFP. Started feeling a bit queasy today but could be imagining it apart from that no sore boobs or anything. I need to hear some positive stories about how people didn't get their BFP's till weeks after AF was due.........

Well AF has arrived this morning for me spotting starting at 9dpo is just cruel! And to go on for 6 days what's that all about?! Well at least I'm in to a new cycle now.

Hi loves it's strange you've still no AF. Have you any other symptoms? Are you planning to test again?

Well I'm feeling pretty nauseous today but that could be anything really! Yes I will test again had told myself not till friday but maybe tonight, a third BFN might help me get the message !!

Sorry about AF at least now you can focus on the next cycle (small reward I know)

I'm currently trying for #1 (16months of trying). I have PCOS and have had irregular periods. I started on Metformin to help with my weight in August and have had a monthly period since then.

I am currently now late but still only getting negative tests and showing no signs that my period is around the corner. I am on cycle day 36 and still seem to have CM every now and then out of the blue (I can't explain that)..

I just got prescribed Clomid, but now that I have that it seems like my period never arrives.. I feel like I'm going crazy. No BFP, no period...no symptoms..!

Hi pp1983, sorry I didn't see any further comments on my thread until now.
My AF finally arrived at day 38! Since then my periods went back to being about 30 days and I went and saw a doctor as i was worried and apparently having a cycle between 25 and 45 days counts as regular! Not very handy when you're TTC!

Any way, finally some good news, 2 weeks ago my AF was a week late again. I had 4 days of brown spotting, like the end of your AF (sorry for TMI) and had a funny feeling i could be pregnant. I did 2 tests and had 2 faint lines, so i still wasn't convinced. So the next day i bought a clear blue test and got my BFP that i was waiting for! So now 7 weeks +1.

I'm tearing my hair out as two weeks late but long cycles so this has taken me to CD46! II've done 3 tests over last two weeks and all BFN but haven't tested for 6 days now as the disappointment sucks. Only been trying for 3 months and came off the pill in Jan after 14 years . Had regular cycles since until now. I've got period pains, bloating and tired plus generally more emotional than usual! I'd love to get a BFP but would just be glad to get my AF at this point.
Anyone else been this late since coming off the pill? I'm 30 by the way. Thanks!
